πŸ“ Role Summary

The State Clinical Training Officer will:

  • Train and mentor public sector providers in family planning services, especially Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs)
  • Ensure client safety and satisfaction
  • Oversee facility management, demand creation, stakeholder engagement, and quality data reporting

🧰 Key Responsibilities

✅ Train, coach, and conduct supportive supervision for providers
✅ Ensure competency in counseling, infection prevention, and LARC service delivery
✅ Support advocacy, client mobilization, and build strong external relations
✅ Ensure facilities meet MSI quality standards
✅ Manage availability of commodities, equipment, and clinical supplies
✅ Conduct state-level quality audits and incident reporting
✅ Assess training needs and develop state training plans
✅ Act as the focal person for MSI Nigeria in your assigned state
✅ Maintain strong relationships with government and partners
✅ Ensure timely data collection, validation, and reporting in ORION system
✅ Organize provider review meetings and produce monthly reports

πŸ”Ή Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
πŸ”Ή Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
πŸ”Ή Technical expertise in LARCs
πŸ”Ή Experience in clinical training, team supervision, and facility management
πŸ”Ή Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office tools, etc.)
πŸ”Ή Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned state

πŸ“˜ A degree in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, or related medical sciences
