Job Description
The IMO Supervisor will oversee field teams and ensure high-quality data collection in research projects across Nigeria. Key responsibilities include:
Supervising Interviewer Monitoring Officers (IMOs) by reviewing their work and supporting task planning.
Ensuring data quality for quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews/FGDs.
Preparing periodic field reports and coordinating data collection activities.
Conducting key informant interviews (KIIs), in-depth interviews (IDIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs).
Reviewing interview transcripts for accuracy and ensuring proper data cleaning.
Managing data files and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Supporting training sessions and testing data collection tools.
Traveling extensively, including to remote locations, for fieldwork.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Specialized training or experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or Impact Assessment is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising national or regional data collection programs.
Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, field team management, and data quality assurance.
Proficiency in data transcription, cleaning, and management.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to engage with diverse populations and maintain data confidentiality.
Technical Skills
Experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, laptops, tablets, and GPS recording.
Remuneration
Salary: ₦1,050,000 Net/Month
Transport Allowance: ₦300,000 Net/Month
