Warehouse Officer 1 at International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)


Location: Abuja (FCT), Nigeria | 

Job Type: Full-Time | 

Deadline: 28th March 2025


The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is hiring a Warehouse Officer 1 to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and record-keeping of goods.


Job Responsibilities


Receive and verify incoming goods, reporting any discrepancies.

Ensure proper storage, picking, packing, and loading of goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records (bin cards, stock cards, etc.).

Weigh and tally goods during loading and unloading.

Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Record temperature logs when required.

Supervise loaders and day workers.

Follow logistics risk control measures.


Requirements

National Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage).

2-3 years of experience in logistics, storekeeping, or administration.

Good verbal and basic written English skills.

Proficiency in computer skills.

Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

Must have a valid work permit to work in Nigeria.
