🩺 Role Summary:

Action Against Hunger is recruiting a Stabilization Centre Officer to oversee and manage Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases with medical complications. The officer will supervise medical staff, ensure adherence to CMAM protocols, and maintain quality service delivery in supported stabilization centers.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• 👩‍⚕️ Manage SAM cases with medical complications
• 👨‍🔬 Supervise doctors, nurses, and nurse assistants
• 📋 Ensure adherence to national CMAM and WHO protocols
• 🧑‍🏫 Provide technical coaching to SC nurses and nurse assistants
• 📦 Monitor stock levels, usage, and expiries of therapeutic items
• 🚚 Coordinate food and supply logistics
• 🧠 Organize regular staff trainings and on-job coaching
• 📊 Compile, analyze, and report stabilization center data
• 🧼 Ensure hygiene and infection prevention in SC
• 📈 Drive continuous quality improvement

🧠 Required Skills:

• Excellent reporting and documentation skills
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Team leadership experience in similar settings
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Fluency in English, Hausa, and/or Kanuri
• Strong commitment to humanitarian values

---

🎓 Education & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine, Public Health, or related field
• Must have a valid practicing license
