✅ Main Purpose of the Role

✨ Supervise and ensure high‑quality care, maintenance, and organization of operation theatres.
✨ Oversee OT Nurses, Nurse Aides, and Sterilization Technicians.
✨ Ensure strict adherence to MSF protocols, hygiene, and safety standards.

📋 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Supervision & Leadership – Guide, coach, and mentor OT Nurses, Nurse Aides, and Sterilization Technicians.
✔️ Planning & Organization – Develop daily/weekly OT schedules with surgeons and anaesthesia teams.
✔️ Infection Prevention & Control – Enforce hygiene standards, sterilization protocols, and OT readiness.
✔️ Resource Management – Manage stocks, equipment, and ensure timely maintenance.
✔️ Quality Assurance – Monitor surgical indicators (SSI rates, turnaround times, documentation quality).
✔️ Collaboration – Work closely with Maternity, ICU, NBU, VVF, Blood Bank, and other units.
✔️ Human Resources – Participate in recruitment, induction, training, and performance reviews.
✔️ Data & Reporting – Ensure accurate documentation, compile monthly reports, and drive improvements.

🎯 Requirements

🧑‍🎓 Education: Essential Nursing Diploma.
💼 Experience: Minimum 2 years as an OT Nurse (MSF or NGO experience is an advantage).
💻 Skills: Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet).
🌍 Environment: Experience in developing countries is desirable.
