🎯 Job Summary

The Nutrition and Health Programme Manager will lead the implementation of Nutrition projects in Sokoto North, Denge Shuni, and Gadabawa LGAs, managing staff, budgets, logistics, reporting, and partnerships. This role requires strong leadership, technical, and coordination skills.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

📌 Project Implementation & Management

• Develop and manage project implementation plans
• Ensure activities align with donor and AAH standards
• Oversee budget utilization and logistics
• Maintain quality assurance across program activities

📌 Technical & Strategic Support

• Provide guidance to Nutrition team
• Collaborate with SPHCDA and LGA health authorities
• Lead strategy development to address malnutrition
• Ensure alignment with national health and nutrition protocols

📌 Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Track project indicators and data
• Submit monthly activity and financial reports
• Support donor reporting and documentation of lessons learned

📌 Team & Capacity Building

• Recruit and mentor program staff
• Organize technical training sessions
• Conduct staff evaluations and support performance improvement

📌 Representation & Coordination

• Represent AAH in sector coordination and stakeholder meetings
• Foster partnerships with local authorities and NGOs
• Promote integrated programming with other departments

✅ Eligibility Requirements

🎓 Education:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), Nutrition, Development Studies or related field with 5+ years’ experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Food Science/Technology with 5+ years’ experience

🧠 Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in a similar management role in humanitarian or development settings

💼 Skills:

• Excellent project planning and team management
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

🗣️ Languages:

• Fluency in Hausa preferred
• Strong English communication skills
