Job Description

MTN Nigeria is seeking a Sales and Trade Development Representative to oversee trade infrastructure, manage financial service distribution channels, and ensure MTN’s brand visibility and dominance in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with sub-dealers and dealer branches to verify stock movement.

Conduct informal training for retailers on MTN products, services, and promotions.

Monitor events, promotions, and perform post-promotion evaluations.

Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity and market intelligence reports.

Ensure optimal product availability in distribution channels (>95%).

Establish strong relationships between distributors, sub-dealers, and retailers.

Conduct on-the-spot coaching and provide merchandising support to outlets.

Ensure a minimum of 8–10 daily outlet visits in the assigned territory.

Enhance brand visibility with POS materials, signage, and merchandising.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in social sciences).

Experience:

✅1–3 years in sales, marketing, or a similar field.

✅Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is an advantage.

Skills:

✅Sales and marketing expertise.

✅Strong relationship management and communication skills.

✅Ability to conduct market research and generate reports.

✅Familiarity with distribution channels and trade partnerships.
