Job Description

As a Logistics & Delivery Officer, you will be responsible for:

Executing daily delivery tasks.

Ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods to warehouses and field sites.

Working closely with transporters and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.

Reporting challenges and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Execution

Plan and execute daily delivery schedules with transporters and warehouse staff.

Track delivery performance and report discrepancies.

Ensure all deliveries meet deadlines.

Provide delivery updates to relevant teams.

2. Cost Management & Compliance

Monitor and report delivery costs.

Ensure transporters follow agreed routes and pricing.

Assist in processing transporter invoices.

3. Process Improvement

Identify areas for improving delivery efficiency.

Participate in feedback collection to enhance logistics operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in supply chain, business, economics, or related fields.

Experience: 1–2 years in logistics, inventory, or warehouse management.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and data analysis.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Fluency in English (Hausa is a plus).

Passion for serving smallholder farmers.
