🧠 Job Summary

MSF is looking for a qualified Mental Health Supervisor to lead, supervise, and coordinate mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services at Gummi General Hospital and outreach locations. The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with the medical team to provide high-quality support to vulnerable populations.

✅ Key Responsibilities

📌 Coordinate and supervise daily mental health activities
🧑‍⚕️ Provide clinical supervision and support to counselors
👥 Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for MSF and MoH staff
📊 Monitor data collection, analyze trends, and compile reports
🗂️ Oversee patient file documentation and follow-ups
🧾 Organize and participate in MHPSS evaluations and team meetings
🤝 Collaborate with medical and outreach teams on mental health integration

🎯 Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field
Experience: Minimum 2 years in psychosocial counselling (1 year under supervision)
Languages: Fluency in English and Hausa; knowledge of Fulani is an asset
Skills: Leadership ability, cultural sensitivity, and computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
