🎯 Job Objective

To provide obstetric care to pregnant women and their babies before, during, and after delivery in accordance with MSF protocols and universal hygiene standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities

🍼 Provide antenatal & postnatal care, safe deliveries, and newborn care (BEmONC/CEmONC)

🩺 Handle obstetric emergencies and make timely referrals

❤️ Provide family planning and contraceptive services

🛡️ Offer medical and psychosocial care to survivors of sexual violence and abduction

🧼 Ensure hygiene, sterilization, and biomedical equipment maintenance

📦 Manage drugs and medical supply inventory

🗃️ Maintain documentation and submit daily and monthly reports

🧾 MSF-Specific Accountabilities

Ensure ANC/PNC services are fully functional and supplied

Administer vaccines to pregnant women and newborns

Provide HIV, malaria, syphilis, and urine tests during ANC

Collaborate with mental health and protection teams for survivors

Support MoH teams in proper documentation and data storage

🎓 Requirements

📘 Education: Degree in Midwifery (Essential)

💼 Experience: At least 2 years in midwifery-related roles (MSF/INGO experience is a plus)

🗣️ Languages: Fluency in English and local language(s) is essential
