Role's Summary:

The Clinical Specialist will coordinate the implementation of the Global Fund N-THRIP grant in facilities supported in the Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra state, focusing on HIV prevention, identification, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate ART Services: Oversee the provision of ART services to PLHIVs at facilities within the LGA.
• Comprehensive Clinical Care: Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and management of HIV/AIDS and related opportunistic infections.
• Clinical HIV Management: Supervise clinical HIV management interventions for PLHIVs at facilities.
• Team Management: Lead a team of clinical staff, health service providers, volunteers, and case managers.
• Prophylaxis Services: Provide pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP) services.
• Data Oversight: Support data collection, analysis, interpretation, and utilization for improved service delivery.
• Technical Oversight: Provide programmatic oversight to pharmacy, lab, and other units.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Medicine (MBBS) or Nursing (RNM) from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 2-3 years post-NYSC experience in clinical management of HIV/TB.
• License: Valid license to practice as a Doctor.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attributes: Ability to thrive in a fast-changing and challenging environment.
