Main Responsibilities
As a Nurse – Reserve Pool, you will be responsible for:

• Following infection prevention and control protocols
• Administering treatments and assisting during medical procedures
• Identifying and referring cases of sexual and gender-based violence
• Triage and emergency care in ER/OPD settings
• Monitoring patients’ progress, documentation, and reporting
• Supporting pharmacy stock and biomedical equipment maintenance
• Supervising and mentoring nurse aides and support staff

MSF-Specific Responsibilities

• Triage all new admissions to prioritize emergencies
• Nutritional care for ITFC and ATFC patients
• Assist ER team with critical patients
• Ensure accurate data collection (registers, tally sheets, etc.)
• Maintain hygiene and waste segregation standards
• Educate patients and their families where needed

Minimum Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor of Nursing Science or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid practicing license

Experience:

• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior experience with MSF, other INGOs/NGOs, or recognized private medical settings
• Supervision experience is an added advantage

Languages:

• English: Essential
• Hausa: Desirable

• Malnutrition case management
• Commitment to MSF principles

• Teamwork and flexibility
• Stress management
