📆 When Do Applications for the MGNL Open?
Applications for the Second Cohort, Class of 2027 officially open from 10 February 2025 until 22 April 2025 @ 5 PM CAT.
📝 What Are the Requirements for Admission?
UGHE’s Office of Admissions takes a holistic approach to the admissions process. The Admissions Committee considers various criteria, including professional experience, supplemental documents, exams, interviews, and overall alignment with UGHE’s mission and vision.
💼 Admission Requirements:
✅ A bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
✅ 5 – 7 years’ experience as a registered nurse (RN)
✅ Currently employed
✅ A non-restricted RN practice license
✅ Letter from current employer stating support for graduate study
✅ Two professional referees
✅ Curriculum Vitae (CV)
✅ A statement of purpose essay describing interest in nursing leadership and the MGNL program’s alignment with career goals
✅ A personal interview with UGHE graduate faculty

- All academic documents must be from an accredited institution
- NOTARIZED COPIES of academic documents are required
- Proficiency in English is essential for graduate-level communication
- The MGNL is a 2-year program for students dedicated to leadership, global health equity, and addressing healthcare disparities

🔄 What Is the Admissions Process?
Applications are submitted online and must include academic qualifications. The process follows these steps:

3️⃣ Selected candidates sit for an online entrance examination
4️⃣ A subset of candidates is invited for admissions interviews
