Job Description:
The role supports regional health initiatives under the West Africa Medicines Regulatory Harmonization Project (ECOWAS-MRH), focusing on:
- Improving access to safe and effective medicines.
- Enhancing sexual and reproductive health, especially for young people.
- Supporting WAHO’s programs: malaria, HIV/AIDS, maternal and infant health, blindness prevention, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate public health programs (pharmaceuticals, labs, non-communicable and neglected tropical diseases).
- Promote new healthcare treatments and policies.
Clinical Roles Related:
- Physicians, Nurses, Therapists, Dentists, Surgeons, and other licensed medical professionals.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Must speak Hausa.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant medical or public health field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
